 Dear Balázs!

First of all, I would like to congratulate on this important day You commemorate one more year the Szekler freedom, remembering the tragic events of 1854.  This celebration shows that your spirit and aspirations as national minority are alive. We are living in a period of revitalization of cultural identities and Szelerland is an example of national dignity that resists to be diluted to powerful cultures and to the uniformity of globalization.

In this sense I hope that your commitment to autonomy will be materialized in the near future, in order to preserve your  millenarian identity and to strengthen economic development and prosperity for the citizens of Szeklerland, in harmony with your neighbors and the Romanian State.

In this peaceful claim for autonomy we will be at your side.

Reiterating our congratulations I hope that today’s celebration constitutes a boost in your efforts to preserve the cultural features that define Szeklerland and to achieve the autonomy to protect your identity.
